Fattori vineyards

The Fattori family has produced wine for over three generations. Antonio Fattori and his brother Giovanni took over the family business in the early '80s. Prior to then, the estate prospered under the direction of their father and the cellars served as a resource for well made base wines which were sold to many of the neighboring properties to be used under varied labels. In the early '90s, they began to produce their own wine, under the Fattori label, with the objective of producing high quality wines that are fresh and fruity with a balanced acidity and a good body.

The Fattori vineyards cover about 30 hectares with a focus on the varietals of Garganega, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Bianco. Due to their respect for the vine, the average age of vines in their vineyard is about 15 years. With fields on the foothills of the Alps, temperature changes from day to night can be extreme. These strong thermal conditions have beneficial effects for the aromatic maturity of their white grapes.

The wines are splendid, superbly clean and well made, brimming with fruit and wonderfully balanced acidity. The brothers are extremely modest and humble, allowing their wines to speak for them.
